Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician with openings available across various shifts. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift, after which you will transition to one of the scheduled shifts.Responsibilities Perform general facilities maintenance preventive maintenance (PMs) and respond to service calls related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, lighting, and groundskeeping. Engage in project-based work, including the setup and teardown of Christmas lights and decorations over multiple months. Focus on hard work and dedication, with opportunities for those willing to learn and grow their skills. Essential Skills 2-5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a commercial, industrial, or hotel setting. Proficiency in plumbing tasks including sinks, drains, faucets, toilets, urinals, and piping. Experience with electrical systems such as security and alarm systems, outlets, sockets, and lighting. Ability to perform groundskeeping tasks including trash and landscape pickup and snow removal. Capability to conduct light carpentry work, such as repairing doors and locks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with pool maintenance and certifications. HVAC knowledge. Plumbing license. 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and insurability. Possession of a reliable vehicle. High school diploma or equivalent. Note that you will not be responsible for maintenance within individual stores, as tenants handle their own maintenance.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
