Minimum Qualifications License Required: Candidates must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment a valid and unrestricted Clinical Laboratory Scientist license issued by the California Department of Public Health. Experience: Three (3) years of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience as a licensed senior scientist in a clinical laboratory performing varied clinical tests and analyses. Other Requirements: A background investigation/fingerprint and/or physical exam may be required prior to the start of employment. APPLICANTS MUST ATTACH A COPY OF THEIR CERTIFICATE TO THE APPLICATION Desirable Qualifications: B.A / B.S. or equivalent in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, or related field Possession of a valid and unrestricted license for Clinical Laboratory Scientist issued by the State of California At least 6 years of experience as a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist with a high degree of proficiency and understanding in all laboratory disciplines Possess a knowledge of Federal, State, County, and Joint Commission standards and regulations Prior supervisory or managerial experience is an advantage Experience with "Epic" and "Wellsky" laboratory information systems is an advantage Tech-savvy and proficient with computing tools Selection Process 1.
