MRI Technician | Trenton, New Jersey

An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI technologist to support imaging services in a fast-paced hospital setting. This 13-week contract position involves working primarily with in-patient, outpatient, and emergency room cases, performing the full spectrum of MRI studies. The role demands a strong skill set with MRI equipment, preferably GE systems, and familiarity with EPIC charting. Responsibilities: Conduct MRI procedures accurately and safely on a variety of patient types including acute care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to prioritize patient imaging needs. Maintain quality control and patient safety standards during imaging. Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely documentation. Work a mid-shift schedule from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, five days a week. Provide on-call coverage: one 8.5-hour day and one 24-hour weekend every five weeks. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years acute care MRI experience; candidates with GE experience and 1.5 years MRI experience will be considered. Certification by ARRT (preferable) or ARMRIT with recent ARRT(R)(MR). Current BLS certification. Ability to perform a broad range of MRI exams excluding cardiac MRI. Comfortable working with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients. Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred. Comfortable wearing black scrubs during shifts.
