Job Details: • Position: Certified nursing assistant CNA • Location: Barre, VT 05641 • Duration: 13 weeks • Shift: Days; Variable Evenings • Guaranteed hours: 40/week • Type of facility: LTC / Nursing Homes Requirement: Experience: 1 year LTC exp Certification: BLS through AHA License: CNA license for VT state Responsibilities: Collect routine specimens; Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises; Assist with clients personal care activities; Maintain patients care records and document provided services; Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support; Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition; Obtaining a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers and nurses about patient condition, treatment plans, and suggested activities; Turning and repositioning bedridden patients; Ensuring patients or residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences
