RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY: Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification. EDUCATION: Minimum: • Must be able to read and write English Preferred: • High school degree or GED LICENSE: PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: • Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification. WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferred: • Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience SKILLS: Minimum: • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
