Cloud Data Security Consultant (Azure Purview)

Cloud Data Security Consultant (Azure Purview) Mission: Stand up secure, scalable Azure Purview scanning and classification across distributed data sources. Key Work Build/operate Self-Hosted Integration Runtimes (SHIRs); connect to VNets and manage Azure nodes. Manage credentials via Key Vault; register sources (Databricks, SQL Servers, etc.) in Purview Data Map. Define scan rule sets; run/monitor scans; analyze results to classify sensitive data. Partner with firewall/network teams to allow secure Purview access behind firewalls. Coordinate with requesters on source VNet details; collaborate with D&A Service Delivery. Attend Data Use Request standups; support BAU scanning & classification. Must-Haves Deep Azure background; proven Purview + SHIR setup/operations. Network/VNet, firewall rules, IAM/key management fundamentals. Hands-on data classification and policy execution at enterprise scale.
