Network Engineer

Role: Network Engineer Location: Boston, Ma Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure network architectures for enterprise environments. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Check Point. Deploy and manage F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic optimization. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis of network infrastructure. Define and enforce network security policies and procedures. Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to ensure secure connectivity across environments. Monitor network performance and security events, and respond to incidents. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network security posture. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong hands-on experience with: Palo Alto Networks firewalls Cisco ASA firewalls Check Point firewalls F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers (LTM, GTM) In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and network segmentation. Experience with network monitoring and security tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk). Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
