Business AnalystLocation: Raleigh, NC Employment Type: Full-Time Opportunity Job Description: Seeking a Business Analyst with proven expertise in data analysis, digital banking, and system integration. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and optimizing data flows across complex financial systems, supporting digital transformation and migration initiatives. Must Have Technical / Functional Skills: Data Analysis: Source, compile, and interpret data for accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization. Requirement Gathering: Identify, document, and communicate system and business requirements via reports, BRDs, and specifications. Reporting & Analytics: Produce in-depth reports and dashboards; identify process gaps and recommend improvements. System Support: Perform log analysis, troubleshoot issues, and support end-to-end system performance. Integration Expertise: Define requirements for real-time and asynchronous data integration flows. Data Migration: Support migration of commercial loan data from legacy systems to strategic platforms. Business Rule Definition: Create business logic and backend API stories to support system transformation. Gap & Impact Analysis: Identify differences between legacy and new systems and determine impacts on business operations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operations Support, OR High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of Digital Banking domains - Payments, Loans, Cards, and Reporting. Hands-on proficiency in SQL (Oracle & PostgreSQL). Technical or Development background is a strong plus. Roles & Responsibilities: Execute advanced SQL/Oracle queries for validation and analysis. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for data issue resolution. Analyze payment formats (ISO wire standards) and perform integration troubleshooting. Investigate logs and performance data using AWS, Splunk, and databases. Lead deliverables with minimal supervision and coordinate with offshore teams. Ensure compliance with internal quality, security, and data governance standards.
