Registered Nurse/PICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pediatric ICU (PICU) Location: 1 Childrens Cir, Syracuse, NY 13210 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Day - 3x12-Hour Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Some holidays required Unit Critical Care - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Experience Requirements • Minimum 3 years PICU experience • Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required • Experience must be recent (within the past 2 years) • Travelers must have worked in hospitals of equal or greater size/acuity Required Qualifications • Active New York State RN License • BLS certification • Strong pediatric critical care assessment skills • Ability to work independently with minimal orientation • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • EPIC experience preferred Additional Requirements • Clean license history (no suspensions or investigations) • Must not have been named in a professional liability claim • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. • Must pass pre-employment health clearance • Subject to drug screening and criminal background check Duties • Deliver high-level pediatric critical care nursing • Perform advanced assessments and interventions • Provide safe, evidence-based care in a high-acuity PICU setting
