What You Will Do As the Social Media Manager, you are a creator and strategist driving our presence at the intersection of brain health, wellness and lifestyle. You'll be the critical point person turning our mission into a best-in-class social presence, building a brand that resonates across multiple social platforms to drive brand awareness, community engagement and revenue growth. You will spearhead strategy, content creation & planning and copy across all organic social media channels, building out the monthly content calendar, 360 social support plans for launches/activations, identifying social trends and owning social reporting & analytics. You will own the pulse of our platforms, translating the power of brain health into compelling narratives. Multi-Platform Strategy & Execution: Spearhead a social media playbook based on the current strategy Develop and implement improved social media strategy that is aligned with our brand objectives and audience targets, driving engagement and growth on Instagram and TikTok Innovate and brainstorm new ideas and directions for social content and campaigns Stay up to date with the latest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices for both platforms Develop the brand voice and messaging across all social channels Create a path to expand onto other platforms (i.e. YouTube) Calendar Management: Responsible for creation, maintenance and successful execution of the social content calendar as well as coordinating cross-departmentally to ensure alignment Manage daily operations of all social media channels, including content scheduling, monitoring and engagement Content Creation: Ideate, create, edit and partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop engaging content that resonates with our audience, staying ahead of trends to ensure relevancy. This role will focus primarily on organic content but will also support paid creative and creator/influencer collaborations Optimize content for maximum reach and engagement, including the use of hashtags, captions, and other platform-specific features Identify content that aligns with segmented demographics and audiences for specific platforms such as IG, Facebook, LinkedIn TikTok, YouTube, etc. Collaborate with the creative team to plan, develop and schedule custom content needs for social as needed Community Engagement & Management: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner Work with the customer service team to ensure all customer feedback on social channels is handled accordingly and in the brand voice Foster a sense of community and engage with followers to build brand loyalty Identify and engage with influencers and potential brand advocates Collaborate with colleagues on influencer management and partnership ideation as part of the overall GTM strategy Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze performance metrics to measure the success of content and campaigns Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement Use data to inform future content strategies and optimize existing ones Other: Attend photoshoots, brand events, and relevant functions requiring social support and coverage Manage third party social tools including Dash Hudson and Canva, while staying informed of and presenting on new and additional tools in support of brand efforts. Develop and manage engaging giveaways and sweepstakes to boost follower growth and engagement and align with like-minded brands Coordinate in-field activations that serve as dynamic social content enhancing brand presence and connect with the community Who You Are You view social media as a growth engine, balancing high level creative intuition with a mindset for measurable impact. You don't just chase likes; you chase results, using data and performance metrics to prove how community engagement translates into championing every generation to nurture their brain health actively. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, communications, journalism, or related field 3+ years experience in social media marketing role Expert knowledge of social media platforms, landscape, and nuances Working knowledge of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics, creating UTM parameters, and principles of Search and Social Excellent visual design and asset curation skills Innovative mindset capable of devising new and fun ways of communicating with audiences Incredibly organized and detail oriented with ability to be flexible and adaptable Capable skills in researching, planning, project management, and reporting Proficient in photo video editing software such Adobe Suite and Canva, as well as Excel, Word, Keynote and other relevant programs Experience in creative tools such as Trello, Slack, and Dash Hudson is a plus A collaborative and creative mindset and a positive attitude Excellent time management skills and the ability to work within strict deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in corporate office environment and overall workflow Willingness to work flexible hours as required by social obligations Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting Benefits $90,000 - $95,000 salary + bonus + equity 100% company paid medical premiums Dental and vision coverage 401(k) with 4% company match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Flexible vacation policy with no accrued days Paid holidays $100K basic life insurance plan through Principal Free MOSH products - fuel your brain while you're optimizing ours.
