Eagle Ridge offers an academically rigorous education that uses a time-tested, Classical, liberal arts curriculum. Speech Coach LOCATION: Eagle Ridge Academy - Minnetonka MN Description: The head coach to oversee all aspects of the Eagle Ridge High School Speech Team, including but not limited to embracing the values associated with co-education programming, prepare the students to compete, and collaborating with the booster club. Desired Qualifications: It is preferred that the candidates have prior experience leading a high school co or extra-curricular program of high school students, ideally in Speech. Experience working in education or related field is required. Excellent communication skills when dealing with students, staff and community. Responsibilities: Set and evaluate progress towards goals of the overall program in partnership with the head coach Work in partnership with Eagle Ridge High School Athletics and Activities office regarding registration, facility use, transportation, and other administrative aspects. Must be able to attain head coach certification in compliance with the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Uphold Eagle Ridge High School policies as it pertains to student-behavior and conduct. Desired Experience: Experience with Speech or Mock Trial Experience with MSBA Demonstrated ability to organize and supervise a total program K-12 Previous head coaching experience and substantial knowledge base in assigned activity Proven ability to work with middle school & high school aged students modeling positive character and responsible behavior Commitment to continuous improvement Fundraising and/or public speaking Confidence teaching the assigned activity December 2025 through April 2026 Pay: $1,000.00 POSITION SUMMARY: To direct, support and fully implement the assigned Activity Program with an education-based philosophy of teaching and coaching. Instruct all participants in the fundamental skills and strategies of the activity for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Stipend available.
