Job Description Our fast growing construction client in Maryland is hiring a Project Controls Coordinator to work in their headquarters. Project Controls CoordinatorPosition Summary The Project Controls Coordinator supports construction projects from proposal through closeout by managing project documentation, systems alignment, and administrative controls. This role does not directly manage projects but ensures the processes, financial tracking, and compliance systems are accurate, organized, and aligned to help deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Documentation & Systems Management Set up and maintain complete, accurate project records and directories Support contract preparation, execution, and filing Maintain data integrity and alignment across Procore, Sage, and CRM systems Monitor project task lists and ensure documentation readiness at handoff Coordinate project kick-off meetings and reporting support Change Management & Cost Controls Maintain change order logs (pending, approved, rejected) Ensure proper documentation, cost breakdowns, and schedule impacts are recorded Provide visibility to Project Management on change status and risk exposure Billing, Compliance & Financial Support Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounting to align commitments and financial records Track insurance, bonding, subcontractor qualifications, and compliance documentation Team Coordination & Communication Serve as an administrative liaison between Project Management, Accounting, Operations, and Field teams Coordinate warranty/service kick-offs and project closeout activities Maintain professional communication with clients, subcontractors, and vendors Continuous Improvement Support process improvements, documentation standards, and system workflows Participate in project wrap-ups and lessons-learned sessions Assist with onboarding and training related to project controls systems Qualifications 5+ years of experience in construction administration or project coordination (or equivalent combination of education and experience) TekCom Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
