This is your opportunity to make a direct impact in a growing company where quality, reliability, and teamwork drive everything we do.Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Facilities & Maintenance Technician at Traco is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing operations. This role performs preventive maintenance, responds to equipment breakdowns, and supports the upkeep of building infrastructure, utilities, and related systems.Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment and facility systemsDiagnose and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsTroubleshoot all production equipment to minimize downtimeMaintain and repair all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and compressed airSupport installation, setup, and relocation of manufacturing equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsMaintain maintenance logs, work orders, and documentationEnsure compliance with OSHA and company safety standardsAssist with vendor coordination and contractor oversight as neededSupport continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilitiesBasic understanding of PLC systems (troubleshooting preferred)Experience with CMMS systems preferredAbility to self-start, stay focused, and work with minimal supervisionProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentAbility to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment Preferred Skills Welding and fabrication experienceExperience with HVAC systemsExperience with pneumatic, hydraulic and water systemsUnderstanding of industrial automation and controlsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Work Environment Manufacturing and industrial settingRequires standing, climbing, bending, and liftingOccasional overtime or weekend work may be requiredPeriodic outdoor workMay involve rare after-hours callouts
