Highlights include: 17 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually Unique schedule: 2 weeks on / 1 week off each month Full benefits package with 95% of premiums paid by the company Partnership track after 2 years $15,000 annual allowance for CME and corporate travel Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available Strong hospital-based practice with a collaborative, supportive culture Pathologist - General Surgical Pathology (BC/BE) Memphis, Tennessee (Metro Area) Hospital-Based Private Pathology Practice We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgical Pathologist to join a highly respected, hospital-based private pathology practice serving the Memphis metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills across a broad range of surgical pathology specimens and a commitment to outstanding patient care. Responsibilities Sign out a wide spectrum of general surgical pathology specimens including: GI, GU, Prostate, Liver,breast, skin, gynecologic, and urologic cases and many more. Participate in intraoperative consultations (frozen sections) Review cytology specimens as appropriate (experience preferred but not required) Collaborate closely with surgeons, oncologists, and multidisciplinary clinical teams Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and institutional quality standards Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary conferences as assigned Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and laboratory projects Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pathology residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or AP/CP Strong experience and/or interest in general surgical pathology Fellowship training welcomed but not required Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure Interested Candidates: Qualified applicants are encouraged to submit a CV and cover letter for confidential consideration to:
