Valid state certification or license, if applicable. Proficiency in surgical instrumentation, sterilization techniques, and aseptic practices. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques. Certified Surgical Tech Key Responsibilities: Prepare and sterilize the operating room and surgical instruments before procedures. Assist surgeons and surgical teams by providing necessary instruments and supplies during surgeries. Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure, following infection control protocols. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively address them. Monitor and manage sterile field and surgical instruments to ensure safety and efficiency.
