As a dedicated Speech Therapist in one of the Pacific Northwest's most dynamic cities, your influence will extend far beyond merely treating speech and swallowing disorders. You will play a pivotal role in unlocking abilities, restoring self-esteem, and fostering relationships - whether it's helping a curious toddler articulate their first phrases or empowering an elderly individual to regain independence in their communication. This extraordinary opportunity allows you to impact a diverse population, delivering outpatient therapy with some inpatient interventions. If you have a passion for guiding young minds, supporting adults with neurological conditions, or aiding seniors with cognitive challenges, you'll discover satisfaction and adaptability in this role. Description Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric beneficiaries utilizing various assessment tools and observational methodologies. Create tailored treatment strategies that target both immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions with a focus on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to deliver integrated care solutions. Provide education to patients and their families, facilitating progress and practice beyond sessions. Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity throughout the patient care processes. Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with relevant state, federal, and institutional standards. Commit to professional growth through continuing education and team collaboration, staying abreast of advancements in the field. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within your first 30 days of employment. Skills Mastery in evidence-based therapeutic approaches for a wide age range, with an in-depth grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions. Exceptional interpersonal skills in communicating with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams. Adaptability in therapy techniques to cater to various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation processes. Benefits Competitive pay reflective of experience. Flexible work schedules that enhance work-life balance and diversify caseloads. Chance to specialize in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics. Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday remuneration. Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Support for continuing education and professional growth. A collaborative environment centered on quality care and lifelong learning. A Career That Resonates and Elevates In this position, you will not just deliver speech therapy - you will become an essential part of a mission that enhances voices, strengthens interpersonal connections, and creates bright moments through those invaluable interactions - understanding and being understood. In this supportive setting, you'll work with colleagues who treat one another like family, promoting collaboration over competition. Every patient comes with their own narrative, and we'll rely on your skills to reshape those stories into journeys of success. It's a space that promises personal and professional growth as you invest your talents in your practice. You could be someone with a penchant for pediatrics wanting to explore adult care, or a neuro-focused professional ready to weave early intervention into your treatment approach. Regardless of your specialty, if you bring heart and expertise to your work, we are excited to have you join our team. Let's Craft Meaningful Communication Together If you consider speech as an art and therapy a partnership - if you value trust and laughter in the therapy room just as much as the pursuit of goals - this position could be the next significant chapter in your career journey. Join a community that champions the power of communication, connection, and courage as we help those around us reclaim their voice. Apply now to add your unique voice to our esteemed team - and together, let's help others discover theirs.
