The Corporate Marketing Intern will support the Corporate Marketing team in executing day-to-day marketing initiatives with a strong focus on social media, branding, and corporate marketing operations. This role is designed for a motivated, creative individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of corporate marketing. The employee will assist with the creation, scheduling, and performance tracking of social media content, support brand consistency, and contribute to various corporate marketing projects as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about learning in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position offers exposure to real-world marketing strategies while playing a meaningful role in supporting and elevating the Matthews™ brand and its subsidiaries. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across Matthews' corporate social media platforms Support social media branding efforts by ensuring consistency in voice, visuals, and messaging Collect, track, and organize social media metrics and assist with monthly analytics reporting Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing team to develop content ideas that support company initiatives, announcements, and brand storytelling Help maintain and update content on the company website and internal platforms Support corporate marketing projects including campaigns, announcements, awards, and company initiatives Conduct research on trends, competitors, and best practices to support branding and social media efforts Take on special projects and administrative marketing tasks as needed MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, marketing, social media, advertising, journalism, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail is essential Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.) Highly organized, professional, and eager to learn PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Interest in branding, social media strategy, and marketing Basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) or similar design tools Experience using social media scheduling or analytics tools is a plus Prior internship or experience in a professional office environment preferred Ability to communicate effectively across teams and support company culture and values Strong time-management skills and willingness to take initiative Hourly Wage - $17
