Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required to be obtained within the first year of employment. Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
