The role will report to a Director of Nursing and will lead charge nurses, RNs, CNAs, and unit coordinators across all shifts. Additionally, the position will collaborate closely with clinical educators, case management, respiratory therapy, perioperative services, emergency services, and physician leaders in obstetrics, pediatrics, medicine, and surgery to drive outcomes. The RN Manager Women's & Pediatric Acute Care will guide a fast-paced unit with telemetry capability and dedicated pediatric beds, caring for a diverse mix of medical and surgical patients, including respiratory, cardiac, bariatric, post-mastectomy, trauma, and other acute conditions. The position holds 24/7 accountability for clinical and operational excellence, leading day-to-day workflows while ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care. Lead strategic planning, program development, and process improvement initiatives that elevate outcomes and efficiency as well as oversee budgeting, staffing, scheduling, throughput, physician relations, and regulatory readiness to sustain reliable, high-performing operations.
