Oasis Nursing and Rehab of Green Valley is looking for a Full-time & PRN Occupational Therapist to join their in-house rehab team in Henderson, NV at the beautiful 242 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility! Our multidisciplinary team collaborates closely to ensure that all aspects of a patient's health are addressed, aiming for holistic healing and long-term wellness. Position Summary: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions that promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and overall function. Key Responsibilities: Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to address functional limitations. Provide direct treatment to residents to improve motor skills, coordination, cognitive function, and ability to perform ADLs. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and use of assistive devices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and resident progress in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines. Participate in discharge planning, care conferences, and team meetings as needed. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and provide clinical guidance as appropriate. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTD, MOT, or BSOT). Current Nevada Occupational Therapist license (or eligible). Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required. Passion for working with elderly and post-acute populations.
