Education Master's level qualification in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized educational institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those who are not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. CERTIFICATE OF CLINICAL COMPETENCE (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
