About the RoleThe State of Mississippi is seeking an experienced Programmer – Data Reporting to support federal reporting requirements. This is an individual contributor role focused on rebuilding and validating data reporting processes using modern industry standards. The role emphasizes statistical modeling, data analysis, and documentation using R and SQL.? Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance statistical reporting models in RRewrite and validate existing data reporting and coding processesDocument business rules, logic, and revisionsPerform development, back-testing, deployment, and UATCollaborate with business and technical stakeholdersSupport federal reporting and compliance standards (FIPS)Deliver clear technical documentation and presentations✠Required Skills & Experience5+ years of R programming and statistical analysisStrong experience with SQL (development and querying)Hands-on experience with R StudioExperience with data reporting and analyticsFamiliarity with UAT, deployment, and AgileExperience with Power BIExposure to ADABAS/Natural (preferred)Ability to work independentlyExperience in Windows 7/10 environments?
