Mental Health/Psych RN Hours Hours: 6PM-720am the days of the available shift areWed, Friday and Sat - Must be Flexible with schedule/days/hours as it could change depending on needs of the facility Mental Health/Psych RN Compensation The pay for this position is $50.00 an hour paid weeklyBenefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employmentA 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Mental Health/Psych RN Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for newly admitted and existing incarcerated individuals, including physical, mental health, and chronic care evaluations.Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including oral, injectable, and emergency medications, in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, responses to treatment, and progress in the electronic health record system.Provide emergency medical response, including first aid, CPR, and stabilization of acute medical or behavioral health crises.Conduct intake health screenings and assist in medical classification processes upon inmate admission.Manage chronic disease clinics (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma) and ensure continuity of care.Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures within scope of RN licensure.Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.Educate patients on medication compliance, disease management, and preventive healthcare practices.Ensure compliance with institutional policies, infection control standards, and state and federal healthcare regulations.Maintain accurate, timely documentation to meet legal, accreditation, and quality assurance standards.Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff as appropriate.Adhere to safety and security protocols while delivering nursing care within a correctional environment.
