Join our team of visionaries who are not just developing buildings but are crafting a future where wealth creation and enduring legacies go hand in hand!Position Summary: The Director of Culture & Talent is a key leadership role responsible for originating and driving internal practices and objectives that foster an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing inclusion, quality, productivity, and standards. This position is integral in achieving company goals through strategic HR leadership and the hands-on management of day-to-day operations. As a department of one, this role balances tactical HR functions with high-level initiatives to attract, develop, and retain a superior workforce while ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with company goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, equity, and employee engagement. Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the entire recruitment lifecycle, from talent acquisition strategies to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new hires. Oversee external recruiters and manage direct recruitment processes. Talent Development & Training: Assess organizational development needs and lead the creation and implementation of learning and development programs, including the maintenance and enhancement of the Trainual software platform. Partner with leadership to drive talent development initiatives. Compensation & Benefits: Conduct market competitiveness assessments and develop compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent. Serve as the key internal administrator for company benefits. Employee Lifecycle Management: Design and implement an employee lifecycle strategy that ensures staff effectiveness and fulfillment from hire to retirement. Lead initiatives that challenge employees positively and contribute to their growth and satisfaction. Performance Management: Facilitate coaching and development sessions with leadership and managers to enhance team and individual performance. Support team members in achieving their goals by acting as an accountability partner. Culture & Engagement: Plan company outings and events that promote team bonding and a positive work environment. Develop and manage employee recognition programs to celebrate milestones and achievements. Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant HR laws and regulations. Develop, update, and maintain company policies and procedures. Continuous Improvement: Attend industry seminars, networking events, and training to stay current on HR best practices and continuously bring innovative ideas to the organization. Organizational Development: Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, contributing to high-level decision-making and long-term planning. Qualifications: Curiosity & Continuous Learning: A passion for learning and adapting to new challenges. Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution. Transformational Leadership: Ability to lead and implement transformational change that positively impacts the organization. Strategic & Tactical Balance: Skilled in both high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution of HR tasks. Confidentiality & Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and trustworthiness. Communication & Presentation: Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills. Coaching & Mentoring: Ability to coach and mentor employees at all levels, fostering a culture of growth and development. Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations. A proactive and innovative approach to achieving outstanding results.
