Description Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment plans addressing both short-term objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing for diverse populations. Collaborate with an array of professionals-including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families-to create seamless care strategies. Provide education for both patients and families to reinforce progress outside of your clinical sessions. Occasionally conduct inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure ongoing supportive care. Maintain detailed and timely documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in the field. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained. Certifications Current licensure as a Speech Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within thirty days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-informed treatment techniques addressing diverse age groups and a comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal skills for communication with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary care teams. Capacity to customize therapy methods that cater to various cultural and linguistic preferences. Analytical clinical judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
