Per Diem Registered Dietitian

We are excited to announce a position for a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our supportive team. Position Summary: In this role, you will work with individuals and families to provide evidence-based nutrition counseling, develop personalized meal plans, and educate clients about healthy eating habits, lifestyle modifications, and chronic disease prevention. You will enjoy flexibility in your work schedule with options for both virtual and in-person consultations to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities: Nutrition Counseling: Provide individualized and group counseling focused on weight management, pediatric nutrition, and prenatal/postnatal nutrition. Personalized Meal Planning: Create tailored nutrition plans that suit clients' health concerns, goals, and lifestyle preferences. Chronic Disease Management: Support clients managing prediabetes, gestational diabetes, obesity, and other metabolic conditions. Education & Resources: Offer evidence-based nutrition education and resources to help clients grasp important nutrition concepts. Collaborative Care: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal client outcomes. Client Monitoring & Follow-Up: Track client progress and provide ongoing support, motivation, and adjustments as necessary. Program Development: Assist in creating wellness programs or workshops focused on pediatric nutrition, pregnancy nutrition, and weight management. Qualifications: Licensing/Certification: Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and hold licensure in Massachusetts (MA) and New Hampshire (NH). Experience: At least 3 years of experience in weight management, pediatrics, and perinatal nutrition. Skills & Abilities: Strong communication skills, the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, and a compassionate approach to client counseling. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telehealth nutrition counseling. Knowledge of cultural competency in nutrition care. Additional certifications such as Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Pediatric Nutrition Specialist (CNSC) are a plus. Compensation: We offer a competitive hourly or per-session rate based on experience and qualifications along with a flexible schedule.
