Job Description Join Our Team as a CVOR Tech Surgical Services - Make a Difference in Cardiac and Vascular Care! Are you a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist seeking an exciting opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are looking for a dedicated CVOR Tech to provide exceptional surgical support in our fast-paced facility. In this vital role, you will assist in complex cardiac and vascular surgeries, ensuring smooth operations and optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will contribute directly to lifesaving procedures, making a tangible difference in patients' lives. Required skills include scrub experience with at least 5 years of CST background, with a minimum of 2 years specializing in cardiac and vascular surgeries. You must have 1 year of CVOR experience, including familiarity with procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements. Experience in a Level I Trauma facility and proficiency in aseptic technique are essential. Certification must include BLS, and skills should encompass general OR, thoracic, vascular, and CVOR procedures, as well as equipment documentation and charting using the EPIC system. Nice to have skills include experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing, and the ability to adapt to call requirements and weekend shifts. Preferred candidates possess a minimum of 5 years of CST experience, with demonstrated expertise in cardiac and vascular surgeries, preferably in trauma settings. Certification in additional specialties and familiarity with EPIC or similar charting systems are advantageous. Other requirements include the ability to work the night shift from 18:30 to 07:00, with flexibility to accommodate weekend shifts and call responsibilities. Valid licensure and certifications are mandatory. Travel or licensing reimbursements may be provided as applicable.
