Payroll Manager

Soni is partnering with a client seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee full-cycle, multi-state payroll operations. This role ensures accurate and compliant payroll processing while serving as a key resource for employees and leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including new hires, pay changes, and terminations Oversee commissions, benefit deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings Review payroll reports and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance Ensure adherence to wage and hour laws and payroll tax regulations Maintain employee tax documentation and support year-end reporting Partner cross-functionally to resolve payroll inquiries and improve processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred 5+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state, public company environment Payroll certification (CPP, FPC, or CPS) preferred Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance and reporting Proficiency in payroll systems and advanced Excel skills High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and communication skills Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
