Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements and Responsibilities: Plans and manages patient care tailored to individual needs. Conducts thorough patient interviews and accurately documents medical histories and physical conditions. Proficiently obtains vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. Delivers routine patient care with precision and compassion. Vigilantly observes and monitors patients' health conditions. Meticulously reviews medical charts to ensure comprehensive care. Accompanies patients to their rooms, providing necessary assistance and support. Collaborates effectively with physicians and registered nurses to optimize patient outcomes. Maintains open communication channels with patients and their families, fostering trust and rapport. Performs standard diagnostic procedures with expertise, including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler. Skillfully prepares specimens for laboratory courier services. Administers medications accurately and safely. Provides meticulous wound care and assists with injections and enemas. Ensures patient comfort and dignity are prioritized throughout their care journey. Monitors catheters with precision and diligence. LPN Qualifications / Skills: Deep understanding of medical practices and procedures Demonstrated patience and compassion towards patients Exhibit kindness and empathy in all interactions Proficient critical thinking abilities to address complex healthcare scenarios Strong knowledge of infection control practices to ensure patient safety Physical stamina and endurance to meet the demands of the role Keen observational skills to detect subtle changes in patient condition Familiarity with occupational hazards and adherence to safety protocols Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues Display leadership qualities to contribute to a cohesive healthcare team Licensed Practical Nurse Education and Experience Requirements: Completion of a state-approved training program, typically resulting in a diploma, certificate, or associate degree Possession of a valid LPN license, obtained by passing the NCLEX-PN exam Current BLS certification Ideally, 1-2 years of recent nursing experience, demonstrating proficiency and dedication in the field Feel free to reach out to me at your earliest convenience.
