Become a Key Player as a Deal Governance Consultant! In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in our Deal Governance process and execution. Reporting to the Manager of Deal Governance, you will provide valuable insights and trends to senior leadership, driving impactful changes throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating, communicating, and executing Deal Governance protocols while continuously enhancing our Deal Governance functions for improved visibility and tracking across leadership stakeholders. Your Essential Responsibilities: Act as a strategic financial partner to various internal teams, facilitating the effective execution of Deal Governance. Take charge of researching, strategizing, and delivering important deal initiatives for assigned territories, including new and existing business opportunities. Build and nurture relationships across teams to expedite decision-making and enhance processes, serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders such as Executive Leadership, Business Development, Account Management, PBM Relations, Legal, and Finance. Develop strong connections with external partners, including PBMs and brokers. Analyze data for key trends in offers and RFPs to inform strategic decisions. Utilize insights from previous deals to create tailored approaches that meet unique client needs. Leverage financial analysis, CRM, and reporting tools to discover opportunities that align with client-specific requirements, maintaining compliance with Stakeholder guidelines in Deal Governance Playbooks. Maintain an actionable and reportable competitive market intelligence repository. Support RFP strategies by collaborating closely with Business Development, Account Management, and RFP teams. Engage proactively with the RFP team to identify challenges and streamline processes for enhanced efficiency. Improve workflows for approval processes related to specific deals and large-scale projects. Oversee the accuracy and design improvements of the Deal Governance-related CRM to ensure effective reporting. Actively participate in interdepartmental initiatives to promote collaboration. Identify process gaps and opportunities for enhancing visibility and efficiency. Contribute to strategic discussions in Deal Governance that support Business Development and Account Management. Assist the Manager and VP with large-scale projects and initiatives. Utilize the RFPio tool to track proposals and Deal Governance triggers. What You Need to Succeed: 5+ years of professional experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or a related field is required. A Bachelor's degree is mandatory. Experience in PBM relations, pricing, and/or contracting is essential. Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial and sales data analysis. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a collaborative mindset. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to draft, proofread, and edit written materials efficiently. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong team-building, relationship management, and project management capabilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on process and procedure. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all dealings. A proven problem solver with a proactive approach. This position may work from our Birmingham, AL headquarters or remotely from home. Compensation and Benefits: The expected hiring range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 annually, with final compensation based on experience, skills, knowledge, and equity considerations.
