DescriptionLocation: McLean, VA Employee Type: On Call (As Needed) Position Summary Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, VA, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Commercial Driver to support campus operations. This role is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of supplies, equipment, and materials both on and off campus. The ideal candidate is a professional CDL driver who values safety, reliability, and providing excellent service while supporting a community dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults. RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical school graduate is a plus. Minimum of four (4) years of driving experience required. Valid Virginia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred. Clean driving record (current documentation required). Strong commitment to customer service and resident satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport residents to designated locations, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy. Assist residents with loading and unloading personal items as needed. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, checking wipers, brakes, lights, tire pressure, and fluid levels. Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles, including washing and waxing as needed. Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly. Monitor schedules and transportation requests to ensure timely service. Assist Security with valet parking and traffic direction during special events.
