STATE PARK PEACE OFFICER (RANGER/ LIFEGUARD ) - BU7 MOU / MASS COB INTER-DISTRICT TRANSFER Open to Department of Parks & Recreation Rank and File officers currently in the classifications and eligible for transfer. Per Bargaining Unit 7 MOU, the department shall select the applicant with the most seniority. Seniority shall be defined as badged time in SPPO (Ranger/Lifeguard) classifications. Employees who are subject to corrective action such as, but not limited to, counseling, interim reporting, or adverse action, may not be eligible for geographic transfer. The senior candidate will have forty-eight (48) hours from the time and date of the offer to accept the position. Working Conditions Per California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.961 , this is a sensitive position, and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing.
