Obtain high-quality imaging and ensure proper positioning. Coordinate patient preparation and scanning to ensure smooth workflow. Demonstrate expertise in contrast media injections and reactions, and start IV lines for administering contrast fluids. Transport patients to and from the department. Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system. Essential Skills Technical or Associate's degree in radiography. Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Maintain registry status while employed. Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer, prior to direct patient care. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in radiology, radiologic technology, and imaging. Knowledge of X-ray and CT procedures. Work EnvironmentThis full-time position is for the night shift in Tulsa, OK, working Sunday to Tuesday from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with alternating Wednesdays. Our facility is a 656-bed hospital that includes specialized centers such as The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, state-of-the-art cancer treatment technology, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
