In this role, you will: Assess, direct, and deliver speech/language therapy services to patients in a home or facility setting. Contribute to the development and regular review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care. Use your professional judgment to evaluate and treat speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders to prevent, identify, assess, and minimize their impact. Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments, including audiology screenings. Monitor, document, and report any changes in patients' conditions and responses to treatment to your supervisor or physician. Train and instruct patients in the use of alternative communication systems as needed. Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and healthcare staff. Keep and submit required documentation, including evaluations, visit summaries, care plans, and progress reports promptly as per company policy. Engage in care coordination activities and assist with discharge planning. Uphold the highest professional standards regarding confidential information, only sharing it when necessary for the patient's best interests. Participate in staff development programs, obtaining continuing education as mandated by company policy. Make a Difference with Your Expertise Meet the educational and experiential qualifications for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology from ASHA. Have a minimum of six months of experience as a speech therapist or speech language pathologist. Experience in home health is a plus. Possess a current and unrestricted license. Hold a valid CPR certification. Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication abilities. Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Compensation: The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate for starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. Depending on geographical location and qualifications, individual pay may fluctuate. The estimated annual salary ranges from $85,400 to $117,500. Pay per visit/unit ranges from $49.00 to $69.00.
