They support major commercial builds across education, healthcare, hospitality, residential developments and public venues, and they've built a reputation for reliability and quality over several decades. What you'll be doing; You'll manage estimates across a mix of small works and large multi-million dollar projects, including: Reviewing blueprints, drawings, and technical documentsInterpreting plans, specs and project requirementsPreparing accurate cost estimates for labor, materials and fabricationWorking with suppliers to secure competitive pricingProducing clear proposals and bid packagesIdentifying cost efficiencies and value engineering optionsPartnering with project managers to ensure alignmentKeeping accurate, organized documentation and records What they're looking for: Experience as an Estimator in construction, HVAC, sheet metal or ductworkConfident in reading blueprints and technical drawingsStrong analytical and problem solving capabilityGood communication skillsFamiliarity with estimating softwareFully office based in Chesapeake, VA Why this role stands out: The company is stable, financially strong, and continues to grow year after year.
