Travel Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Long Term Care/SNF setting in Buffalo, MO, requiring at least 1 year of PT experience and an active Missouri state license. Job Details • Long term care (LTC) / skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting, • Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as agreed upon with the Director of Rehabilitation, • 35 hours per week, • No weekend or on-call requirements, • 13-week contract, Job Requirements • Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; new graduates with Level II clinical experience will be considered, • LTC or SNF setting experience required, • Active Missouri state PT license required; compact license accepted, • License required if applicable, • 1 professional reference required for consideration, Additional Information • Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and treating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs, and developing individualized plans of care, • Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, assistive/supportive devices, and wound care as part of rehabilitation, • Monitors and documents patient progress, treatment outcomes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards, • Provides consultation and education to patients, families, caregivers, and other care team members regarding physical disorders and treatment plans, • Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings, • May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students, • Must adhere to APTA standards and state practice acts, including code of conduct and ethics, • No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested
