Overview This individual provides direct patient care as the women's health Advanced Practice Clinician according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and accepted standards of care. Functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Medical Center credentialing committee. Follows established nursing standards procedures and practices and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff. Responsibilities Ability to apply appropriate clinical assessment skills for patient services. Ability to evaluate necessary diagnostics. Ability to accurately document in detail for services rendered. Demonstrates competency in patient care assessment. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a concise easily understood manner. Open and receptive to continuous competency education as needed to provide appropriate care. Support organizational leadership training opportunities. Exude punctuality in compliance with hospital policy mandates. Qualifications APC for women's health to support and improve access for OB/gyn patients. Ideal candidate will have experience in women's health as an advanced practice clinician to support current providers with patient access. Competencies Skills Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members Able To Withstand Crisis Situations Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records Credentials Current state license as a PA or NP with prescriptive authority and DEA registration. National board certification (NCCPA for PAs; ANCC or AANP for NPs). Education Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program or an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master's or Doctorate. BLS, ACLS required, ATLS preferred, must complete airway training within 6 months of hire Other Information Entry USD $122,955.00/Yr. Max USD $166,843.00/Yr.
