Key Responsibilities Drive the development of scalable, cloud-native services. Recruit, manage, and mentor distributed engineering teams, promoting reliability and continuous improvement. Collaborate across departments to define the technology strategy and architecture for our product roadmap. Oversee the roadmap for essential capabilities that will directly impact our customers. Act as the primary contact for service-critical issues, implementing necessary corrective actions. Partner with product managers and technical leaders to boost delivery and operational efficiency. Guide a globally distributed engineering team, ensuring optimal resource allocation and prioritization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in cloud services development. More than 5 years in senior engineering management, successfully building and leading multiple teams, including international teams. Expertise in distributed systems and managing SaaS solutions at scale, including incident leadership. Proven record in production operations focused on security, compliance, and operational observability. Strong understanding of large-scale computing, networking, and storage systems. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, specifically in designing LLM and agentic systems. Experience in implementing compliance-by-design in regulated environments. Familiar with cloud architecture and multi-cloud service patterns. Expertise in enterprise security including access controls and data encryption. Understanding of healthcare platforms, particularly EHR-derived datasets. Experience with various databases, large-scale compute/storage, and observability practices. A successful history of leading globally distributed teams and measurable AI/ML projects. Additional Information This position may require compliance with immunization and occupational health mandates based on customer requirements. The salary range for this role is between $122,500 and $291,800 annually, which may include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and compensation deferral.
