ControllerCompany: Omnipotent Brands, LLC Location: Greenville, SC – Hybrid Job Type: Full-Time Classification: ExemptAbout the RoleOmnipotent Brands, LLC is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations across a growing portfolio of restaurant concepts and affiliated real estate and investment entities. This role also supports Insignis Partners, LLC, a multifaceted investment and real estate development firm.The Controller will serve as the primary financial leader responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, treasury management, and compliance across multiple entities. This position will work closely with executive leadership and external advisors while helping ensure strong financial infrastructure as the organization continues to grow.This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a multi-entity environment and enjoys supporting both operational and investment-level financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across multiple entitiesPerform variance analysis against budgets and prior periodsMaintain consolidated financial reporting for restaurant and management entitiesProvide financial insights and reporting to executive leadership and partners Accounting Operations Oversee accounting processes for restaurant operating entities and management companiesManage intercompany transactions and account reconciliationsReview and approve journal entries and monthly close proceduresCoordinate with external accounting partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting Treasury & Cash Management Monitor cash flow across multiple operating accountsProcess ACH payments, internal transfers, and other treasury activitiesCoordinate payroll funding and operating account balancesReconcile loan accounts and confirm timely debt payments Real Estate & Investment Accounting Support financial reporting for real estate and investment entitiesReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and loan balancesAssist with investor distributions, partner contributions, and capital callsSupport financial reporting requirements for lenders and development projects Compliance & External Coordination Coordinate with external CPA firms on tax preparation and year-end reportingManage 1099 filings and regulatory reporting deadlinesSupport lender reporting and covenant complianceMaintain entity registrations, business licenses, and financial documentation Process Improvement Help implement efficient accounting processes and financial reporting systemsIdentify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements across entities QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experienceExperience working in multi-entity accounting environmentsStrong proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred CPA designationExperience in restaurant, hospitality, or real estate accountingExperience working with family offices or private investment groupsExperience coordinating with external audit or tax firmsFamiliarity with lender reporting requirements Benefits Competitive compensationMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceHybrid work scheduleUnlimited PTOPaid holidays Work EnvironmentThis role is based at the Omnipotent Brands corporate office with a hybrid schedule available.
