As a Senior Production Software Engineer at Oracle Health, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and resolving issues for our clients regarding our software products. You will work closely with a team of engineers and analysts, leveraging your problem-solving skills to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues within a large code base. Key Responsibilities: Conduct technical investigations of client-reported issues and collaborate with team members to develop effective solutions. Utilize your expertise in Java or C# to debug and troubleshoot software applications. Navigate Linux environments using command line tools to diagnose and resolve server-related issues. Work with SQL databases and review log files to identify problems with applications and services. Engage in testing workflows in both client-facing and internal environments. Analyze code changes, configurations, and functionality to determine the root cause of issues. Be prepared to resolve high-impact issues during on-call rotations, ensuring consistent 24/7 support for critical incidents. Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to facilitate effective problem resolution. Required Skills: US citizenship, with the ability to secure federal security clearance. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 5 to 11 years of professional experience in software development or troubleshooting. Proficient with Java, C++, or C# programming languages. Experience with databases, data models, and schema design (e.g., Oracle MySQL). Familiarity with Linux operating systems through command line usage. Ability to analyze software design and code logic effectively. Experience using GitHub for version control. Skilled in reviewing logs to troubleshoot applications and services in JAVA and SQL databases. Comfortable conducting testing across workflows and environments. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting or development. Exposure to other object-oriented programming languages. Compensation and Benefits: The hiring range for this role is between $79,100 and $158,200 USD annually, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
