Your Role We are looking for a talented Network Solutions Specialist with strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of network monitoring tools and methodologies. In this role, you will manage multiple projects, solve real customer challenges, and gain insight into our high-performance analytics solutions. Success in this position will depend on your self-motivation and your ability to quickly learn new technologies while tackling complex technical issues. Key Responsibilities: Leverage your extensive knowledge of network performance in cloud and on-premises settings to recommend the best infrastructure solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance application designs by introducing features that improve user performance. Advocate for application quality by suggesting improvements that increase performance and reliability across both cloud and on-premises networks. Conduct monitoring and performance evaluations for highly parallel software applications across various deployment models (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Virtualization, bare metal). Utilize strong analytical skills to troubleshoot network issues, identify optimization opportunities, gather relevant data, and develop actionable solutions that address root causes. Create and maintain predictive models for system behavior based on configurations and emerging technologies. Provide remote engineering support to product development teams and assist customer service teams in resolving complex issues. Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus and resolve challenges together. Demonstrate outstanding teamwork by working toward shared objectives and addressing problems for collective success. Engage proactively with project leaders, managers, and key stakeholders to contribute to multi-faceted projects. Collaborative Environment You will be part of a committed team focused on assessing, designing, and supporting on-premises systems to deliver scalable enterprise analytics. You will report to the Platform Infrastructure Engineering organization. Qualifications: Must have US Permanent Residence. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's/Ph.D. with 7 years of experience. Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, EVPN, VRF, QoS, and related technologies. Practical troubleshooting experience with LAN, WAN, and packet analysis. Familiarity with LINUX internals and administration. Experience with routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls in both cloud and on-premises environments. Background in High Performance Computing (HPC) networking. Proficiency in network configuration automation using scripting languages and DevOps tools. Experience building network infrastructure in a SaaS environment, whether cloud-based or on-premises. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various teams, vendors, and stakeholders. What You Bring: Knowledge of computer system components, including processors, memory, storage, and network adapters. Familiarity with high-speed networking and storage solutions. Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation aligns with design and manufacturing requirements. Exceptional creativity, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities. Pay Rate: 111800.0000 - 139800.0000 - 167700.0000 Annually Your starting pay will be based on geographic location, internal equity, job-related skills, and experience. All permanent positions can participate in annual incentive plans, which depend on both company and individual performance.
