Winston Salem, NC Order: 183777 Order Type : Ongoing Order Job description: Supervisor - Manufacturing Facility Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: 2nd shift (with flexibility as needed) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead and coordinate production activities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and team success. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate production (50-100) workers in the assigned department. Ensure daily production schedules are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. Manage workflow and allocate personnel effectively. Lead, train, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching. Enforce company policies, processes, and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Report equipment issues, material shortages, or production problems promptly. Tools & Technology Forklift operation Scanner systems Computer applications (Microsoft Office, WMS - Warehouse Management System) Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment. 1-3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role. Experience with ERP/MES systems strongly preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to reach above shoulders, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods in a production setting. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.
