Located in Navarre, FL, this contract opportunity seeks a skilled CVOR Technician with expertise in cardiac and vascular surgery support. Key Responsibilities: Scrub and assist on open heart, lung, and vascular surgeries, ensuring sterile techniques and efficient instrument handling Collaborate closely with surgeons and OR staff to maintain high-quality patient care and safety Float to the Main OR as needed when no heart or vascular cases are scheduled Utilize standard OR equipment and document procedures using the Meditech system Adhere to hospital and unit policies, maintaining professionalism and collegiality Desired Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience as a CVOR Tech with the ability to scrub open heart cases (mandatory) Familiarity with endovascular case assistance is a strong plus though not required Comfortable working in a 1:1 patient staffing environment with RNs, techs, and orderlies Ability to work 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shifts, with potential for 5- or 10-hour shifts; availability for weekday and weekend on-call Willingness to float to Main OR when applicable Knowledge of sterile techniques and standard OR protocols Location Highlights: Situated in Navarre, FL, you will be close to beautiful Gulf Coast beaches known for pristine white sand and a laid-back lifestyle.
