Coordinate patient assignments, manage patient flow, and facilitate effective communication among the healthcare team, patients, and families. Care Coordination: Oversee the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing care. Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards of practice, including those specific to emergency and trauma care. Team Development: Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Assist with the orientation of new employees and contribute to ongoing staff education. Quality & Safety: Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and patient safety standards. Assist in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes. Resource Management: Ensure the appropriate utilization of nursing and clinical resources, manage supplies efficiently, and assist with maintaining a safe and organized care environment. Shift: Day Shift Schedule: Full-time Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current RN License in the State of Georgia or Multi-State Compact (RN-COMPACT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Required within 180 Days: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Required within 18 Months: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification. Required: Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience, preferably within an Emergency Department setting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Expertise in prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and managing complex patient situations.
