Maintenance Technician

Description A Maintenance Technician is more than just a repair expert; they are the unsung heroes of the hospitality industry. They ensure that every property operates smoothly, every guest experience is seamless, and every small detail-whether it's a leaky faucet, a flickering light, or a temperamental air conditioner-is taken care of before it becomes a problem. They are problem-solvers, troubleshooters, and skilled craftsmen, responsible for maintaining the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals. Whether they're fine-tuning an HVAC system or patching up drywall, they take pride in their work, knowing that their attention to detail shapes the guest experience. RequirementsComplete maintenance tasks and projects, traveling between multiple worksites each day. Create a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring our homes are well maintained general repairs, preventative maintenance & inspections. Respond to guest issues (assigned work order) regarding maintenance, as needed including but not limited to: Appliance troubleshooting Cable/Wifi troubleshooting Basic HVAC repair Light plumbing Basic electrical knowledge. Paint, clean, and troubleshoot repairs inside homes. Drywall, and basic carpentry skills. Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with team members and management team. Provide cross-coverage with housekeeping department when necessary to ensure urgent issues are addressed. Assist in ground maintenance and upkeep. Collect and remove trash and debris. On-call service for after hour's emergencies, rotating with another team member. Coordinate with third-party service providers. Evaluate the condition of the vacant units. The ability to follow-up and follow through with assigned tasks. Ability to regularly lift over 20 lbs. Applicants must have reliable transportation. Applicants must be willing and able to work overtime for emergency calls which may include weekends, holidays and after hours. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
