Role: As a Team Shift Supervisor, you will support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in running successful shifts autonomously. You will take initiative in solving problems and provide guidance to other team members when needed. Key Responsibilities: Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all customers leave satisfied by executing the Manager-In-Charge (MIC) Success Routine and completing tasks related to People, Customers, and Service. Ensure Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks and wear their uniforms neatly. Always prioritize customer needs and maintain a friendly demeanor. Quality Control: Maintain food safety standards and ensure order accuracy. Respond to customer complaints swiftly while fostering positive relationships. Collaborate effectively with management and colleagues to promote teamwork. Attendance: Understand your scheduled shifts and report to work punctually and ready to work, providing notice when you cannot attend. Utilize approved systems accurately to record hours worked. Initiative and Energy: Act proactively to complete tasks without being directed, showcasing high energy and commitment. People Development: Provide regular performance feedback to the RGM regarding team members. Offer constructive and positive feedback consistently to help team members grow. Participate actively in the training process for new team members. Ownership: Assist in managing profits and losses while following cash control and inventory processes. Supervise food preparation and ensure proper adherence to cooking and holding timelines. Support the RGM with facility maintenance and uphold health and safety standards at all times. Job Requirements: Preferred internal promotion from Hourly Champion position. Must be at least 18 years of age. Successfully pass background check and drug test. Have reliable transportation. Basic business math skills are necessary. Ability to manage and direct subordinate employees effectively. Capable of performing physical tasks, including cleaning and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant premises. This position typically averages 30+ hours per week, depending on operational needs. Responsibilities may change or expand at the discretion of restaurant management.
