Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a vital role in safeguarding the company's assets by preventing financial loss associated with theft and fraud. This position supports safety and environmental compliance across the assigned store or multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: Utilize various tools to mitigate loss within the company, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud. Conduct thorough reviews of CCTV footage and exception reports. Monitor the physical security of the store and perform audits on Electronic Article Surveillance systems. Foster a culture dedicated to shrinking losses within the store. Prepare detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries. Preserve evidence and engage with law enforcement when necessary. Testify in criminal and civil court actions as required. Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
