Home Installation Specialist

Job Description As a Home Installation Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing our customers' technology experience by delivering, installing, integrating, and troubleshooting an array of tech products including home theater systems, computing devices, smart home technology, and networking equipment. Your expertise will not only involve technical skills but also engaging in meaningful conversations to tailor the best solutions for our customers' unique lifestyles and needs. What you'll do Deliver a first-class customer experience by providing insightful recommendations on products and services that fit their lifestyle. Perform essential fulfillment duties such as delivery, installation, integration, networking, and diagnosing consumer electronics issues. Lead collaborative installations and confidently manage individual tasks when required. Oversee inventory and vehicle upkeep, handle paperwork and payments efficiently, and actively contribute feedback to improve processes. Basic qualifications At least 21 years old. A current, valid driver's license with a driving record compliant with Best Buy safety standards. Ability to obtain necessary state or local licenses within 90 days of hire. Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds independently, and up to 150 pounds as part of a team. Experience in consumer electronics delivery or installation for at least 6 months. A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience. Preferred qualifications 6 months of experience handling advanced or complex consumer electronics installations and troubleshooting.
