THE OPPORTUNITY As a Culinary Team Leader, you will master the art of preparing delicious food, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables, ensuring our offerings exceed expectations. You will manage food orders and mentor aspiring Culinary Leaders, creating a dynamic kitchen environment. Your role is essential in maintaining the quality and safety of Chipotle's meals. You will keep the kitchen organized, clean, stocked, and equipment in top condition. Leading by example, you will inspire Crew members to grow into future leaders, fostering teamwork and delivering outstanding customer experiences. On the job, you will actively engage with your team, continuously working toward kitchen goals while assisting colleagues as needed. WHAT YOU'LL DO Follow Chipotle's policies and procedures while overseeing kitchen operations. Ensure food quality through precise cooking and preparation. Manage food inventory and minimize waste, promptly addressing any quality concerns. Encourage collaboration between kitchen and service Crew members. Guide Crew members toward becoming future Culinary Leaders. Communicate effectively with both Crew and customers to enhance service and efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen. Monitor kitchen equipment, ensuring timely repairs of any issues. Uphold safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents. Complete necessary documentation, including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO). WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE A passion for Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
