About the Role: Product Leadership: Leverage data to understand the product ecosystem, uncover new opportunities, and address emerging challenges, thereby creating value for users and partners. You'll guide product development and assist leaders in prioritizing initiatives and setting execution goals. Analytics: Provide direction to product teams with data-driven insights. Develop hypotheses and utilize a variety of analytical techniques to validate your findings. Communication and Influence: Transform data into compelling narratives that engage leadership, building trust and credibility through structured insights. People Leadership: Inspire and develop a high-performing team of data scientists and analytics professionals. Responsibilities: Lead a team of data scientists in developing strategies for products that impact billions worldwide. Manage end-to-end analytics projects that inform product strategy in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams. Present insightful recommendations to shape product direction and leadership decisions. Analyze extensive and complex datasets to tackle various challenging issues using advanced statistical methodologies. Define and track product success through goal setting and monitoring key performance indicators. Spot opportunities for product improvement, guiding roadmaps with your data-driven insights. Contribute to advancing the Data Science field at Meta by sharing best practices and mentoring fellow data scientists. Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing or possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with completion prior to joining Meta. At least 4 years of relevant work experience (or 2+ years with a Ph.D.), including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role within analytics. Proficiency in data querying (e.g., SQL), scripting (e.g., Python), and/or statistical software (e.g., R). Demonstrated ability to independently initiate and complete analytical projects. Experience in effectively communicating analysis results to senior leadership. Preferred Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Experience in technology, consulting, or finance sectors. A proven track record of leading high-performing analytics teams.
